Michael Terpin is CEO of the Transform Group, the leading global PR and marketing firm in the fast-growing cryptocurrency and blockchain sector, with offices in Santa Monica, Silicon Valley, Las Vegas and Puerto Rico. Transform also works with an array of innovative technology and media properties, and its social media division, SocialRadius, helped create the category in 2003 and has been named to the Inc. 5000 twice. Terpin is also managing director of bCommerce Labs, the first digital asset and consumer cryptocurrency company incubator. He also co-founded some of the leading cryptocurrency investment vehicles: BitAngels, BitAngels “Dapps” Fund, Flight.VC Bitcoin Syndicate (AngelList top 10) and CoinAgenda investor conference. Prior to Transform Group, Terpin founded Internet Wire (now Marketwired), the first Internet-based press release distribution platform, which was backed by Sequoia Capital and Hummer-Winblad, sold for $35 million and was recently acquired by NASDAQ for $200 million. Terpin holds an MFA in Creative Writing from SUNY at Buffalo and a dual BA in Journalism and English from Syracuse University, where he is an advisor to its top-rated Newhouse School of Public Communications and was named to its Wall of Fame in 2000. He was also a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
